Yachidamo Waterfall Coffee Table 01

A one-off coffee table made in our Niseko workshop from Japanese ash, known locally as yachidamo. The timber came from a tree felled locally in Kutchan, Hokkaido.
The form follows the character of the tree: two pale, strongly figured surfaces are joined with dark butterfly keys, with a waterfall end and two supporting members. This is the exact piece shown.

Care
Wipe spills promptly with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive or harsh cleaning products, and do not leave hot or wet objects directly on the surface. The oiled finish can be refreshed when required.
