Our Services
We’re a small workshop in Niseko making solid timber furniture and joinery to order. Most of what we do is one-off or small batch, built properly and built to last. We don’t advertise general carpentry or building work – no framing, roofing, plasterboard or full house renovations. Our focus is on the bits you see and touch every day.
CUSTOM FURNITURE
We design and make:
- Dining tables and benches
- Coffee tables, side tables and consoles
- Bed frames and headboards
- Shelving and small storage pieces
Most pieces are in solid oak, ash, walnut or similar, finished in hard-wearing oils suitable for Niseko’s climate.
CABINETRY & STORAGE
We build made-to-measure cabinetry for:
- Chalets and homes (TV units, wardrobes, mudrooms, built-ins)
- Rental properties that need durable, tidy storage
- Small commercial spaces where off-the-shelf doesn’t fit
We can work from your architect’s drawings or sketch it out with you from scratch.
KITCHENS & UTILITY SPACES
We take on selected kitchen and utility projects where:
- You want timber fronts, feature elements or bespoke layouts
- You care about materials and details rather than the cheapest possible box
- There’s a clear plan, timeline and budget
We’re not a high-volume kitchen showroom. We’re a small team doing a smaller number of decent jobs.
COMMERCIAL & HOSPITALITY WORK
We work with hotels, bars, cafés and shops on:
- Bar fronts, counters and back bars
- Tables, benches and shared dining areas
- Feature walls, timber details and display units
- Reception desks and concierge points
If you’re fitting out a space in or around Niseko and want timber to be part of the story, we can help.
We Offer:

We can work from proper vector files (SVG, AI, PDF, DXF) or tidy up your logo if needed.
REFINISHING & UPGRADES
Where it makes sense, we can:
- Re-sand and re-oil tired tables and benches
- Refresh Takumi pieces that have had a hard life in rentals
- Adjust or improve existing items (within reason)
Not every piece is worth saving, but we’re happy to look and tell you honestly.
What to Expect on Pricing
Custom work is labour intensive. Every piece is drawn, set up and built individually in a small workshop, not stamped out in a big factory.
That means:
- Prices will not be close to flat-pack or mass-produced furniture
- Solid timber and proper hardware cost more up front, but usually last longer
- We’ll be clear about budgets and options before we start
If you’re unsure where your idea might sit cost-wise, send us a quick enquiry and we’ll tell you if it’s likely to be a good fit before anyone wastes time.
