Takumi Woodwork was established by Louis Higgins, a time-served carpenter and joiner from the Isle of Man, U.K.
We’ve hopped from Japan, back home, and back to Japan again since 2015.
We currently share a workshop with Island Snowboards, and have a small team of 3, making furniture, and servicing the local area with general carpentry and cabinetry jobs.
We have experience ranging from new builds, to kitchens and furniture. We will entertain all enquiries. Our goal in the future would be to follow our passion to work solely making furniture, with a view to opening a showroom in the near future.
‘Joinery’ is the wooden components of a building, such as stairs, doors, and door and window frames, viewed collectively.
